Description

I used rotoscoping techniques to isolate performers and instruments frame by frame, allowing animated elements to move behind or around them without breaking visual coherence. These cutouts also enabled stylized effects and overlays that support the visual narrative without overwhelming the performance.

The final look was achieved through meticulous compositing, blending hand-crafted 2D animation with high-contrast footage to create a layered, analog-inspired aesthetic that feels both modern and nostalgic.

This project allowed me to bring expressive movement and design into a live-action space, using animation to complement the music’s cultural richness and dynamic energy.
